When the Beatles are an option, there's really no question involved. The Stones would've been great if they stopped around 1980, The Who have a LOT of great songs, and Led Zep are as classic a rock band as it gets, but the Beatles -- hell, they changed everything.

You know this is what bugs me sometimes about the Beatles always being #1.

So they changed music. So what? To me that doesnt equate to them being the best of all time. I think thats an insult to other bands, saying that since we were first no one else can top us.

From this list I go with Zep.

it's tough, since i'd prefer to listen to zep or the stones' GOOD stuff over the beatles any day. but i do realize that the beatles were much more consistent and solid in their releases. i have nothing but respect for the beatles.

Or that some classic rock lovers actually dislike the Beatles...

Replace Beatles with Pink Floyd, then I will take ALL FOUR = D = D

The Who is more consistently enjoyable to me.
