The makers of House on Haunted Hill, Thir13en Ghosts, and Ghost Ship were supposed to crank one of these out every Halloween... what happened to the one for this year?

Dark Castle's Gothika, their supernatural thriller, was delayed until November 21st.

Oh - that's right... it's Gothika. I forgot. Gothika looks really good. Too bad they missed their deadline. Maybe next year.

Who is/are "Dark Castle"? Gothika is directed by Mathieu Kassovitz (The Purple Rivers).

Isn't the english translation Crimson Rivers, referring the the "bloodlines" being played with?
Je parle un petit peu. That, and "crimson" sounds cooler. :)
Kassovitz isn't to well known in the USA, I can understand why he's not being used to sell the film... after all, would you see a supernatural thriller "from the love interest guy in Amelie..."?

Oups! Yup, Crimson Rivers it is. I just translated "Les Rivières Pourpres" as it sounded.
Yeah, Kassovitz is not well known at all as a director in the USA. Not very good for marketing. Stick with the actors. :)
By the way, Gothika was shot right here in Montreal.

Gothika looks like it's got the most potential of the bunch so far. Hopefully it won't disappoint.
So far I'd have to rank them in the order they came out going from best to worst... maybe this one will change that.
