Strange KS3122 player problems

I ordered the Koss KS3122 from Amazon.com, and upon connecting it (via components) to my HDTV, it worked perfectly. However when I turned it on the next day, the picture was all pink-looking. If I played a DVD, the picture is squiggly, pink-toned, and rolls. So I returned the player, and got another. This time it lasted a week perfectly, then suddenly one day it's all pink, and I can't watch anything.... The S-Video outputs still work perfectly, this only affects the components. Anybody have any idea how this might have happened? I'm hesitant to order another just to have it go bad... It's not going through a vcr or anything, and I tried switching out the cables, nothing.
