True Crime or SSX 3 for GC

I am going to EB later today to trade some games in and I am trying to deciede whether to get SSX3 or True Crime for the GC, I only have the budget for one game. I know these games are completely different but I am having trouble deciding which to get. I also posted this in the True Crime thread but figured I would get a better response by putting it in its own thread.

Thanks

Gee, both games got pretty good reviews. Gamerankings.com has the ratings averages of SSX3 and True Crime as 94% and 83.6%, respectively. I bought SSX3 (for XBOX) as part of the TRU 3 for 2 deal last week and have played it for about an hour (been bogged down with Knights of the Old Republic). Preliminarily, I find it to be extremely fun. FWIW

can't speak for true crime, but SSX 3 is an awsome game with tons to do. it will be well worth the price of the game.

I am leaning towards SSX 3 because I really liked SSX and Tricky but I still like the idea of true crime.

SSX3 is better than SSX and Trickey combined (this is coming from a HUGE fan of Trickey too).

those are two separate kinds of game, so its not fair to say which one is better, it kinda depends on your preferences..

but if i could only afford one, SSX3 would probably be a better value since you can play 2 player whereas True Crime is solo. i own both and i've logged more hours playing True crime since i just love mindlessly going around starting fights with people, its so funny.

I'd go with True Crime. I tried SSX 3 and I didn't like it, but it's probably because I sucked so bad at it

Go with True Crime. Then pick up Mario Kart and 1080 (instead of SSX), which qualifies you for the Zelda disk.

Both are great. Can't go wrong either way--just depends on what you're in the mood for. Not a wrong decision to be made here.

Yeah, Tricky completely rocked, and any GTAish game should be awesome, so it just seems like a tough choice of preference.

Though I'd probably go with True Crime (since I prefer 1 player story based games), and wait for SSX3 to come down in price.

I got SSX 3 but did not realize how bad the GC controller is for this game. I do like the game alot but I will just get SSX 3 for PS2 so I can use a Dual Shock controller. I am probably going to trade it in and get True Crime.

I am already planning on getting mario cart but I dont know much about 1080 yet.
