Opinions on some horror...

Hi, I'm asking for opinions anyone may have on some of these horror movies. I got these in a ten pack and have yet to find time to watch these. I did read the Amazon reviews.

- Squirm
- The Brood
- The Ghoul
- Disturbing Behavior
- Dead of Winter
- Burnt Offerings
- The Dunwich Horror

Thanks...

Where did these come in a ten pack? Very different films to say the least.

I got it from COSTCO $50.00. It also had
- Species
- Phantasm
- Invasion of the Body Snatchers

I watched those and have been pleased so far. I especially liked Phantasm.

Me too. That chauffer is creepy! Squirm was one of my alltime favorites as a kid. I've been considering picking this set up.

Phantasm is one of my favorite horror flicks of all time. When I watched it as a kid everything about that movie scared the shit out of me.

Disturbing Behavior is an often overlooked gem, IMHO. Great mood and performances, especially Nick Stahl. The DVD contains a good commentary and deleted scenes with commentary that really give you a good idea how this movie was raped by the studio before release.

Since you're asking about opinions on movies, and not talking about any features specific to DVDs, moving to Movie Talk.

I think both The Brood and Dead of Winter are terrific. I've never seen any of the others. But I recall staring at the (Beta!) box cover for The Goul many times when I was a small child in the video store and being really unnerved by it. What's on the DVD cover?

Burnt Offerings is an excellent haunted house flick. Oliver Reed at his glowering best.

I am unable to watch Squirm now without the MST3K guys adding commentary.

Honk!

I would like to thank everyone for their opinions on these movies. I guess I will keep them. Thanks again.

Static Cling, I'm sorry about the miss-post in the wrong forum, and I thank you for appropriately moving the thread here.

Amen to that. Gave me nightmares.

Big thumbs up to Phantasm (one of my personal faves) and Dead of Winter.
