Toshiba 34HFX83 or 34HF83 recall???

Anyone know about a recall on either of these Toshiba models? When doing some shopping at a local Good Guys this weekend, I asked whether there were any Toshiba 34" widescreens on display. I was told the one they carried was recalled which was the reason for no display models. Anyone confirm this??

Trying to decide between the Sony and Toshiba 34", but the prospect of spending $2300-2500 on the Sony XBR910 does not make my wife particularly happy . . . The prospect of buying something in a line that has been recalled does not make me particularly happy either. . .
