Skin 11/3
Solid episode. Loved how Goldman slid a big donation under the radar into Roam's campaign fund.
The doctor and her high and mighty attitude made me gag. Someone is giving you $80M for to help people battle breast cancer. As long as the money is legally obtained, who cares where it came from.
Jewel (Olivia Wilde) has gorgeous eyes. Just really noticed it last night.

I thought it was the best episode so far.
Goldman calling the doctor's bluff was good.
I wonder how the girl Goldman finnaly let have a part in a movie is going to come back to bite him?
Jewel looked great in this episode.

I find some of the dialogue just downright painful to listen to. I also find it hard to think that everyone on a porn set is "just a normal person" but since I haven't actually been to any porn sets I really can't argue against that point.

from the JM2 thread:

FOX Axes 'Skin,' Adds 'Millionaire'
By Brian Ford Sullivan
CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has canceled its freshman drama "Skin" after just three weeks on the air. The move comes on the heels of the show's disastrous performance last night where it snagged a paltry 1.8 rating/4 share among adults 18-49 and only 4 million viewers overall according to fast national data.
In its place, FOX plans to double-pump episodes of "Joe Millionaire" on Mondays at 8:00/7:00c and 9:00/8:00c starting next week with its two-hour finale now back on for November 24. On Thursdays, FOX will replace its weekly "Skin" replay with encores of "The O.C."

I think that's one more episode it lasted then Girls Club which was in that slot last year.
At least now that frees up my night from recording stuff now that I can just watch Las Vegas.

Well so much for that. You really were patient weren't you FOX? Yeah, I'm sure JM2 will do much better.
On the bright side, encores of The O.C. Thursday at 9 will be nice. That frees up the 4-show logjam I had in the Wednesday 9 pm slot.

This doesn't look good for Tru Calling now. Skin had a higher opening premiere then TC did and by the reaction that got I wouldn't be surprised if it falls fast now too.

The one thing that TC has going for it is lower expectations (going against Friends and Survivor). Plus there was far less network hype for it.
