probably they want to put as many foreign language audio as possible... just like they did with The Hulk

Looks like a serious competitor with X2 this holiday season. Clearly one of top sellers of the year and will probably sell rapidly into the comming year. Yay for Pirates!

Thank goodness! I thought some of you were jumping the gun a bit. 
I loved the film and am definitely going to buy it... it's nice not to have to compromise quality if one doesn't have the ability to play PAL Region 2 DVDs.
