I have about $90 MSN dollars that exprie tonight at mdnight. I really want to get THUG and Morrowind GOTY for Xbox (which ship today at ebgames), but they still show up as pre-orders, and MSN dollars can't be used for pre-orders or gift certificates.

Any ideas of what I can do?

Buy $90 worth of games and then return them when the games you want come out. Just don't open them.

I have thought of that, but being relatively remote, I probably won't get to an EB in weeks.

You can try Circuit City, but I noticed Morrowind GOTY is out of stock.

CC shows a release date as 10/29 so it is still a pre-order

Buy a $90 CC giftcard and wait until they are released, you can use it then to buy them.

And yes you can get GC with them at CC since I have a $30 CC GC in my possession using MSN $'s.

Huh, I did not know that. I assumed you couldn't.

Anyway, I ended up getting SSX3 and Crimson Skies for the Xbox, which I will return some day when I get to Portland.
