Yup, good episode last night. I must admit though, I did not quite understand the whole Brother Justin story. Were the two Russian children supposed to be Brother Justin and his sister as children (as evidenced by the picture on the wall)?

And Brother Justin's Russian name was "Alexei" if I heard correctly.

Geofferson -- all of the scenes with Brother Justin --
Spoiler:
from the time he jumped off the bridge until the time Alexi snaps Brother Justin's neck are in Brother Justin's head. They are memories of when he and his sister were younger. Justin was Alexi, and he and his sister did come across a man on the river bank, and Justin/Alexi did kill him. The only difference between reality (20+ years earlier) and what we saw last night is that in reality, the person Alexi killed wasn't Brother Justin. Perhaps it was their father?

No need to put spoiler tags on things that already happened.

This episode was what I've been waiting for from this show. Last week's looked like things were finally going to start moving along, so I'm glad they didn't disappoint. Brother Justin rarely disappoints though. He definitely has the most interesting things happening to him, but I think this newest revelation was the best so far.

And FINALLY Ben healed somebody! It didn't seem like too big of a deal until Lodz found out about it. The only part I wasn't too interested in was Dora May's family. I was hoping the father and daughter would leave with Sophie, rather than that pathetic ending. They spent too much time on that story to have nothing really happen.

Oh, almost forgot my favorite new pick up line, "Do you want to go on a snake hunt with me?"

Did you see how many fish had to give their lives to heal a compound fractured arm?

I just meant it wasn't a big deal because it wasn't anything more than what he had done for the girl in the first episode. I'm sure at some point he's going to have to kill a lot more than fish or crops.

I think Lodz finding out about it and suddenly beating Lila with his cane was the more important part to that story.

The amount of damage done to the environment around the healing is unbelievably imbalanced which is really interesting. I enjoyed this episode quite a bit more than previous episodes, and I like Ben more as well. I never had a problem with him before, but now you can see why he was so adamant about not listening to Lodz to learn about his powers.

I still think that the dust bowl is a result of Scutter or someone else with Ben's powers.

I don't think the person Justin killed was his father.

Just watched this one;

Finally! Ben uses his power again.

Justin's story continues to intrigue. I still think his sister burned down the church.

Finally got around to watching this episode. I was happy the brother justin storyline is being progressed. His sistser was very controlling of the young "Alexei" and seemed like a pretty evil kid. At first I thought the kids had some sort of satan connection until we found out they were they young brother justin and his sister. I wouldn't doubt that she burned down his church.

Can't wait for next week, although the previews were quite confusing.

The whole thing w/ Justin on the bridge was a nice nod to Ambrose Bierce's Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge.
