Joseph Kearns and "Burns and Allen"--help updating Imdb.com
This morning I was watching an
episode of "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show" (1950) on TV Land when I saw who I thought was Joseph Kearns.
For those that don't know, Joseph Kearns played the original Mr. Wilson on the Jay North series "Dennis the Menace."
I went to Imdb.com and noticed
that he was given no credit for
ever appearing on "Burns and Allen."
He appeared on the program at least twice, and I would like to give him credit. However, I wasn't sure how to do it. The update may need to be added to the actual TV show or to him directly.
Here is the info I have:
1) "The George Burns and Gracie
Allen Show" (1950) Season 3
Episode 7 "Sampter Clayton Ballet - Selling Tickets"
I can't recall if his character had a
name, but I am sure he appeared in the episode---November 20, 1952

I'm not sure if the episode title I provided is the actual title.
I took the title from the
TV Land schedule.
2) "The George Burns and Gracie
Allen Show" (1950)
playing Mr. Tavelman - Filmed Show #89 August 9, 1954
http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet...personid-6622/
It was actually episode #130 and ran
in the 4th season---circa 1954.
However, the first 2 seasons of "B&A"
were shown live and are not in syndication. That's the reason
why filmed episode #7 is actually the
59th episode of the series.
Filmed episode #89 is actually the
130th episode of the series.
I provided the links to provide documentation.
Here are some other links relating to
Joseph Kearns.

If anyone knows how to update Imdb.com and has a few extra minutes to spare, I would appreciate the help.
BTW, anybody else a fan of "Burns & Allen". Joseph Kearns, or "Dennis the Menace"?

In answer to your questions:
#1- His name in the episode was Charles Sampter of the Sampter Clayton Ballet.
#2- The correct name is Mr. Blackwell- The episode name was: Gracie has Georges picture painted
I love Burns and Allen- I wish TV Land would show more that the same 15 episodes over and over. This show is a classic and needs to be on more and deserves to be, I hope Columbia get's off there duff and releases a complete collection on DVD Soon. This show has to be one of the best classic comedy shows in TV history and is still as funny today as it was it first aired. -
I have about 20 episodes on tape and a have a few DVD's with some episodes- but would love either for TV Land to air more or Columbia to release a complete collection.

Thanks for the info.
Does anyone know the steps necessary to update the imdb.com?
Is it necessary to update both the TV show and the actor?
Any help is appreciated.
