My favorite Oakenfold CD is disk 2 of his GU:NY. I also like Tranceport, and many of his old essential mixes. Cream is kinda to Anthemy for me, but its a good cd.
If you are really into expensive cds, this one will blow away any of the above cds: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=music

Well, I didn't do as well as SamSee but by some miracle quirk of fate, after reading this thread I hunted a copy down at samgoody.com. Amazingly they sent it to me - $35, not too shabby. However, right after that, they changed their site around so I couldn't search for this title again by stock number and an email to them came back with "out of print/out of stock". Guess I got the last one (usually I get nothing IE story of my life). Is anyone still looking for a copy of this?

I used to be a big fan of the anthem trance scene, ie Oakenfold.
If you want to get into some of his better items, I highly recommend his 'Voyage into Trance'. Its a bit tougher to find (or at least it used to be), but you can typically find it pretty easily on your favorite P2P network (again, if you can't find it to purchase anywhere first).

I saw him listed in the closing credits for Scorpion the movie with Travolta and Hugh Jackman.
Whatever happened to him?
He was big in the early 2000's.

I used to listen to a lot of Oakenfold back in the 90s and even saw him at Cream in Liverpool when he was the resident DJ. Bunkka gets a bad rap. I actually think its a pretty good album. He did a lot of interesting stuff with his Perfecto label, but in recent years i have not heard anything good from him. For a while he was the most successful DJ in the world. These days he seems to have lost it. Most Trance music these days though is pretty boring. Very little originality.
