It's all writing.
I liked this episode alot- more adult and more sophisticated than last season by far.
Yeah, Savage didn't seem all that threatening, althought it was nice to see his origin. I knew he was long-lived, but apparently he's got Wolverine's healing-factor now too. Ah well.
Couldn't GL or J'on couldn't just fly over to the satellite and bash it?

Well Superman knows and Manhunter presumably knows. As for the rest, my guess is that he tries to keep it secret.

On the show, I believe that Superman and Batman each know each other's identities. Didn't Batman call Superman "Kent" in one scene this week? Maybe it was last week...

good episode. the beginning with batman and wonder woman is cool. the best part of the episode was when Batman caught that foreign guy and he was speaking in that foreign language saying that Bats couldn't understand him. Then Batman spoke got closer it got all shadowy. Reminded me alot of the original Batman: TAS.

Good episode.
But to stray just a bit, why does John make himself look more human? Why not stay with his original self? I ask because I saw the new JL toys at Wal-mart and his was his real appearance and his human one.

A superhero that is concerned about scaring people? He is green, for crying out loud. I think a martian would have a lot more on his mind that his crime-fighting appearance.
At least Batman wears his costume for fear.
