i recently ordered a book which is scheduled to ship only on oct 21. but when i tried to cancel it today, it shows that it has entered the shipping process and cannot be cancelled. so i fired an email off to customer service and buried amidst the reply was:
"To avoid disappointment in the future, please bear in mind that it is extremely difficult to modify an order for an item shown as shippable within 24 hours."
they should be able to cancel it right? what can i do?
i do not want to refuse the package as it i am an overseas customer and i am afraid that it would get lost in the process of being sent back to the US. and if i were have it sent back on my own expense, it would be too expensive.
any advice is appreciated. tks in advance.
