Okay now that I got you to look :) (yes I really do have them for sale, read on):
I got to Best Buy and asked someone to ring them up, and grabbed 10 guides that were a penny each. The rep then said that he talked to his manager and his manager said limit one per person. I asked to see that in writing (whenever there's a limit on something it's in writing), he said it wasn't on writing anywhere. I asked for the manager. He got his manager.
The manager said limit one. Then he changed the story to I can have one IF I buy a game. When I asked him ANY game he said no, only PS2 games. I pointed out he had said any game. He got mad and said we were arguing technicalities. So he changed it again to any game. So I bought 10 games to get the 10 guides. I'm keeping two of the games for myself - that leaves 8 games for sale. The total for those 8 games was $87.90 - $10.99 each.
Soooo... for $10.99 you get a guide AND a game. The games I have are: 6 copies of Rally Fusion for the PS2, 1 copy of The Thing for the PS2, and 1 copy of Turok Evolution for the PS2.
First come first serve. The guides are - 6 copies of Ghost Recon: Island of Thunder, 2 copies of Sonic Heroes DX, and 2 copies of Zelda: The Wind Waker. When I get through with the 8 games and recoup the money I spent, I'll give away the last two to whoever asks for them first IN THIS THREAD. So for each game you buy you get the free guide.
You will pay shipping. I will find out how much shipping it - around $2 is what I'm estimating.
Why did I grab them? Because it's all the rep could do to contain himself and not grab the guides out of my hands - I actually got there quicker than him or he would have grabbed them before I could. If I had left them he would have grabbed them to send them back. It was clear he had NO intention of leaving them out if I had left them there. When I was picking them up he mentioned that the guides were supposed to be sent back and weren't, and an employee yesterday stated that they didn't even put them out anymore, that they were sent back. The manager stated that he didn't know why his employees said that, and that the guides were a giveaway for buying a game. So it was the principle of the thing. It's one of those days it's all I can say :) It just makes me mad when employees start making up rules.
So, the 8 games are: 6 X Rally Fusion, 1 X Turok Evolution, and 1 X The Thing, all for the PS2, all $10.99 each plus shipping.
IF you pay Paypal I'm going to have to ask you to cover the fee. I don't want to make a profit off this but I don't want to have to pay either. I'd prefer either money order or check (if paying by check I'm accepting them ONLY if from the following banks: Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Washington Mutual. They are all local and easily accessible where I live).
If you buy one of those games, you'll get a FREE guide, first come first serve: 6 X Ghost Recon: Island Thunder, 2 X Sonic DX Heroes, and 2 X Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
Thanks for looking :) Please use this thread for correspondence.
