Other Robert Plant CDs

'Sixty Six To Timbuktu' is a 2CD set capturing both his pre and post Led

This set sounds great. I just wish Far Post from White Nights was on there.

A 2-disc cd of Robert Plant!
And my favorite song of his "I'M IN THE MOOD" isn't on it!

I'll buy it for the rarities, but I'm very p*ssed that it won't include ANYTHING from his first (and best) album, Pictures At Eleven. "Slow Dancer" and "Burning Down One Side" both received a lot of airplay from that album. And "In The Mood" is a glaring omission...

Why is it it's more likely that a greatest hits cd will always leave off a popular song?

Either space reasons or that the artist didn't like the song in the first place (ozzy's gh without no more tears or anything from that album, or was that Sharon who hated it)

Plant's solo material has always been hit or miss for me, so I will wait and see some of the reviews and hopefully get some audio clips before I make my final decision.

Actually, I think you meant Shot In The Dark or anything from Ultimate Sin but I know what you are saying. Also missing on Plant CD is Hurting Kind (I Got My Eyes On You) & Honeydrippers Rockin' At Midnight. This should still be a good set and Plant fans probably have most of his CDs anyway so I'd rather see Bsides and rarities.

And there was a zepplinesque song on his 1st cd that they played on the radio a lot but I forgot the name.
It wasn't a hit but they played it alot
