Hellboy intrigues me to no end. I only have the most basic of knowledge of the storyline, but it sounds great.

Yeah, this Hellboy project looks sweet. I have absolutely no background knowledge, but the stuff posted at DVDTalk alone makes me all giddy.

Hellboy is my favorite comic book, & Mignola is my favorite comic book creator & from this simple images there has NEVER been a comic book movie more faithful to the comic book. And perhaps there has NEVER been a director more suited for adapting the source material. There is no movie all of next year I'm looking foward to more than Hellboy.

Hellboy and Mignola are both great. Bring it on. Punisher I'm very blah about. I never liked the character especially during the "grim and gritty" 90's era of comics.

It is amazing how no amount of make-up can hide Ron Perlman!

the official Hellboy site (http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/hellboy/) just relaunched as well -- flash intensive but lots of new cool pictures -- with audio commentary from Del Toro and some by Mignola -- cool website features.

Wow, that Punisher site is really cool. The reports from his military career are quite interesting.

Yeah most directors look the same. They all got beards. Copploa, Jackson, Del Toro, Speilburg.
They're not even different kinds of beards they're all the same.
Just like a lot of comic book artists/writers are bald.

DoctorWho, I'm reminded of a "Total Film" feature, "Directors with beards". Eventually they stopped, and launched "Directors without beards".

When gangsters washed his shirt and the paint all flaked off and stuff, Frank Castle vowed revenge. Thus was born THE PUNISHER! Seriously though, this pic gives me more confidence than the teaser shot.
