Out Of Time

My theater doesn't have the movie playing yet. I was wondering what the ending was, and is it worth seeing IF my theater ever gets it?

The ending:

Denzel runs out of time.

Well...why the hell would you want to know the ending BEFORE you see the movie...that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard...ever. Anyhow,

Out of Time was really good. It's a pretty standard thriller, and as it goes becomes fairly predictable, but Denzel does a great job and the pacing is excellent...it takes it's time to get started, but once it gets rolling, it hardly stops. It was better than I expected and i had a great time watching it, so I'd easily recommend the flick.

***1/2 out of *****

I just want to know because I don't think my crappy local theater, that has 2 screens, will ever get it.

I like Carl Franklin's One False Move and I think he puts something special in otherwise routine material. I just heard Max Weiss (The Movie Show on Radio) talking about how much fun this film is. I'm going to see it tomorrow.

I thought this film was entertaining enough where the majority of the conflict was the internal cat-n-mouse game being played inside a small Florida town police office while the external criminal case is also being worked by the larger, outside police force from Miami. Denzel was fine in this role, which didn't really do much to stretch his acting muscles, Eva Mendes was adequate in her role that adds plenty of wrenches for Denzel's character's predicament. John Billingsley steals almost every scene he's in, provides much of the comic relief. It's basically a paint-by-the-numbers thriller, with an okay ending.

I give it 2.75 stars, or a grade of B-

you see? this is why we need a 2nd forum for movie spoiler talk. some people are unable to grasp the simple concept of spoilers and lazily make posts like this to ruin movie plots for those who havent seen it yet.

thank you very much.

I thought it was alright. I definitely think there are more enjoyable flicks out, though.

An ample amount. If you're going for her, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Saw it yesterday. Not a bad flick. Probably rent it when it comes out on DVD. Not worth buying for me.

Taunt but predictable. I had the ending picked out in the first 30 minutes of the movie.

I'm going to assume isamu's comment was a joke, guys. Anyway, I really liked it. The beginning was kind of slow, and the epilogue was a little too cute, but the rest of the film more than makes up for it. The fax machine scene and the balcony scene were intense. Franklin's direction pays respect to classic noir and never gets in the way of the story. Washington's performance grabs you from the beginning and makes you want to follow his character to the very end. Overall, good work from Washington and Franklin. Grade: B+

I assumed it was a joke also - but still, eekworthy. I'm surprised he made such a comment.
