Zach Galifianakis -- one of the funniest and most original comedians i've ever seen.

eh..it was okay. What was with the whole "Eternal Flame" bit? That was probably the least funny part of the whole show. The jokes written on the easel pad and the little dancing didn't do anything for me.

I've never seen this guy before but I know that Metro Card joke from somewhere and I didn't recognize any of his other material, so I'm suspicious that he lifted that joke from someone. Unless CC uses it as a promo or something which is entirely possible.

Now, the guy who followed Zach on the other hand, Stephen Lynch, had me rolling.

Those are some of my favorite Comedy Central Presents episodes.

Zach briefly had a late night talk show on VH1. It was very bizarre, but funny and had pretty good musical performances. It quickly canceled, though, since it had horrible ratings and unrealistic expectations from network execs.

Stephen Lynch has released 2 CDs. I want them, but there's a lot in life that I want. Ah well.

Just found out about that recently -- I'm ticked I missed it.

The first time I saw Zach was on Out Cold, and I laughed my head off... he is classic in that film (which is on DVD by the way).

"He's had a crush on that bench for years."

Right now he's in the TV series "Tru Calling" on Fox with Eliza Dushku, but I haven't seen it yet.

Yes he is really funny. My favorite line from his 1/2 hour special:

"Three Years ago my sister was diagnosed with multiple personalities. And there's nothing funny about that. But she phoned me the other day, and my Caller I.D. exploded."

Go with his "Superhero" CD. It's definitley one of the best comedy albums ever. It's much better than "A Little Bit Special."
