New Fuel album any good?

I really like the new single "Falls on Me" off the cd and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to hear the whole album and what they thought of it.

I've got it, it's pretty good. It's one of those cd's that get better every time you listen to it, it kind of grows on you.

I'm a big Fuel fan and I really enjoy the new CD. It's not the most innovative in the world, but there are some great tracks, and it plays well the whole way through as well. "Quarter" and "These Things" are my two favorite songs at the moment. "These Things" has some Pink Floyd influence to it as does the rest of the album. Carl Bell the guitar player who composes all the music and lyrics has said before theat pink floyd and led zeppelin are two of his biggest influences, and it can be heard in this ablum. I think Brett's voice is at his best on this album. If you like Fuel at all definetly go to one of their live shows. Their shows have tons of energy and I've never been disappointed.

So to answer your question, if you like Falls on Me I think you would enjoy the rest of the album. Although Fuel tends to release singles that are more radio friendly then the rest of their album.

Why does the guitarist write all the lyrics? If I was a singer in a band, I would want to be singing words that I wrote myself.........

Brett Scallions, the lead singer, has written a couple of songs, "Knives"off of the Something Like Human disc and "Luck" off of the new Nautral Selection disc.

I'm not sure why Carl writes all the songs and music, but that is how it has always been. It is kind of strange I guess.
