Home Room

Here's the new trailer for Home Room.

Looks pretty twisted (you know, the subject matter). What do you think?

Looks interesting and relevant to me. I don't know about it being twisted. It looks like they're going for raw sentiment over shock value/ controversy. Erika Christensen is great in anything she does, even something as poorly put together as Swimfan. I'm hyped.

From http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&cf=prev&id=1808496610

This is the first film to be released theatrically by DEJ Distribution, which is the in-house video production company of Blockbuster Video (where this film will eventually become a "Blockbuster Exclusive" upon its video release).
I'm sorry, but that's a strike against it right there...

Man, you just say the nicest things sometimes. How about elaborating on why you think the movie looks " lousy " ? Then, go watch Traffic again and see a great actress at work.

Calm down fella. You lose some credibility when you go on a Paul Walker rampage. If you think Paul Walker is the best actor, I guess thinking that Erika Christensen is the best actress isnt that far fetched. Ok so she wasnt that bad in Traffic but she sucked in Banger Sisters, Swimfan, and the Perfect Score.

It's like Lifetime and the USA Network got together to blow some money on a "real film".

The film doesn't look all bad but the cast is just something I can't deal with.

I'm judging a film on the cast and not the material in the film. I know it's wrong and I'm taking steps to better myself and correct the problem.

So, you're not going to elaborate on why you think this movie looks bad? Other than your wrong opinion on Christensen's acting, what is your problem with this movie? I'm also not that concerned with losing credibility on a forum in which the most popular threads at the moment are dedicated to crap like Matrix, Resident Evil 2, Underworld, and Kill Bill. Also, on any of my many Paul Walker rampages, I've never said he was the " best actor " of anything.

* Random Paul Walker Rampage *
2 Fast 2 Furious OWNZ the DVD format on Tuesday. That Two Towers crap can't compete with this bad boy for DVD of the year!

Me too, although that Nich Loeb guy almost brought it down with his terrible acting.

Ok I will elaborate. It looks like a weak story with lousy steriotipical characters that show up in basically every movie about teens. Nothing more than a Lifetime movie of the week like someone said earlier. Also you havent seen at least two of the so called crap movies that we dvdtalkers love to discuss because they havent been released yet. Do you think Paul Walker is a good actor?

This is the first trailer I have ever walked out on.

And this is coming from someone who saw Swimfan in the theatre and liked it.

from upcomingmovies.com...

Release Date: October 24th, 2003 (LA/NY); November 7th, 2003 (expands to select cities)

Looks like a well told story from the trailer.

I have no desire to see Home Room.
