Full Metal Jacket SE

There seems to be a R2 FMJ Special edition dvd out. I was just wondering what where the features on it. Amazon doesn't list any " special " really.

It's just one of those special gift sets CDA puts out. There are no additional extras on the disc itself, just a soundtrack CD, a 35mm film frame and a booklet. They also made similar sets for A Clockwork Orange and 2001 IIRC.

Kubrick had a habit of destroying the extra footage he shot for his movies. His feeling was that if he wanted people to see it he would have put it in the movie, otherwise they have no business worrying about it.
