Stolen Taglines
About a week ago in a movie poster thread, I pointed out that the tagline for Star Trek VI ("The battle for peace has begun") was quite similar to the tagline for Star Trek: Insurrection ("The battle for paradise has begun").
Today I noticed another one. I was over on the Official Indiana Jones Website and noticed this:
Which is quite similar to the tagline for Clint Eastwood's Honkytonk Man which was:
"The boy is on his way to becoming a man. The man is on his way to becoming a legend."
So, what other stolen taglines are floating around out there?

Let's expand this a bit too...to include movie titles that were stolen from other movie's taglines.
For example, when SPEED was released, the tagline was "Get ready for Rush Hour!" Sure enough, a few years later we get a movie called RUSH HOUR!
THE MATRIX is a huge hit. ABC entitles a series "Threat Matrix".
In 1984, Paramount has success with STAR TREK III: The Search For Spock. In 1987, Warners releases SUPERMAN IV: The Quest For Peace.
Everyone see how this works?

What's really bad is Drew Barrymore acting like she's making conversation on Jay Leno's show, when all the while, she's making a commercial for cheese. Kraft Singles, to be exact.

As for the thread - look at the covers for Burt Reynolds' Gator and White Lightning. I'm sure it was a mistake, but it looks funny...
