Streaming only, but worth checking out.

very nice-thanks for the headsup.

Was that done by Spike Jonze? I was thinking I read he was doing a vid and the guy that pops in for a second there looked like it might be him.

Nope, this video was directed by Michel Gondry.

Michel Gondry is a true genius. Good to see the Stripes working with him again.

That is cool. They are the next Peter Gabriel of videos.

That is a really neat video. Much better than the Kate Moss one, which is quite boring.

I guess I'm the only one who found that boring as hell. Once I got the gag, it seemed a little repetative. The one they did for Seven Nation Army (although it was epileptic-seizure causing) was much cooler. It also didn't help that "Hardest Button to Button" is probably my least favorite on Elephant.

Check out the video the Smashing Pumpkins did for "Thirty-Three", it was also done with all strobed still photographs and was, IMO, much more interesting.

The PATH train! I'm on that damn thing every day!

They must have filmed those scenes real early in the morning, because New Jersey commuters are harsh, and they don't like to miss their trains.

Hope it's not too new to be put on the Gondry DVD that Palm Pictures is putting out.

BTW
That lame Kate Moss vid was directed by indie darling of the moment, Sofia Coppola, aka Spike Jonze's wife.

Yeah, 'fraid so. I like the line "now we're a FAMILY" which reminds me of the Pixies but the song as a whole just doesn't really do it for me. I'm more of a fan of the zippy/unhinged "Black Math"/"Girl You Have no Faith in Medicine" songs on Elephant.

I caught this video on MTV over the weekend (it was on Subterranean) and I loved it! That had to be one of the most creative music videos I've ever seen.
