Why can't we have a collection pctures thread here?
Isn't it a valid point that those of us who mainly stick to this forum and would like to see pics here of peoples collections that are mostly made up thanks to this CH have a thread on this in this forum?
And Ginwen Please read before you post, I was in favor of the thread, I beleive you mistook me for the atari guy.

As with any thread, if the topic doesn't interest you, don't click on it.

Last I checked, this forum was meant for CH-related discussions. Posting pics of your collection (even if you did get many from CH), IMO, hardly qualifies. A collection is a collection, regardless of where you purchased them. Besides, if you want to show off your collection, why not just post in the more popular thread anyway?

Well I guess that answers that, just thought it would be nice to have one in that forum for the reasons stated previously, but oh well.

The thread I made had a huge amount of hits in a short time. Most of the DVD's we buy comes from Columbia house and this is the ONLY section I go into. Cant tell the mods how to run the forum but I dont think it shouldve been closed.

It's redundant to have a "post your collection pics" thread in Main and in Clubs. If we made such a thread in each forum, then why shouldn't we have one in Bargains (because I imagine a lot of folks have bought a lot of DVDs because of the bargains they found there)? A similar case could be made for a few different forums. After a while, we've got five different threads in five different forums for the same purpose.
Instead of repeating information unnecessarily in different forums... which translates into higher costs for the website... we keep topics in their appropriate forums.
