My heart wants the Razorbacks to pull out the victory, but my head tells me Texas is just too tough at home and the Hogs will have to wait until next season in Fayetteville for a win over the Horns.
What are your thoughts on this matchup?

I think Texas takes it. Mack Brown will not have his season die until the OU game.

Well of course I'll be pulling for the Hogs to upset, but realistically, I think Texas will handle us pretty easily. You never know, though. Arkansas has a history of getting up for big games, but then we also have a history of falling flat on our asses, too. I think we CAN win if we bring our best game, but if we make many mistakes, we're history.
That said...GO HOGS!!

24-17 Hogs mark it down, the Shorthorns don't know what's coming :D

oh BTW here's a quote from a Razorback baord a couple days ago
I just want to win so some little boy in Texas who bleeds orange and white will cry and cry hard. Maybe with luck it will also be his birthday and his dog will die. He deserves it, he is a Texas fan. !! rotfl

I'm a UT grad and big football fan - I think this will be a great game. I think Texas wins it though. They're taking this game very seriously.
I think the Arkansas running game will be key. If Texas can limit them for the whole game (not just two or three quarters), Texas will do well. But, I worry about the Texas run defense...
Texas 28, Arkansas 20

Rumors are flying about Arkansas QB Matt Jones having a hip flexor he suffered running a receiving route in Wednesday's practice.
Not confirmed, but some of the local media have picked up on the story.
Jones is not feared as a passer, but is an excellent runner (he's over 1,200 yards rushing in his career and had a 53 yard TD run last week).

If the Arkansas defense decides to stick with man to man coverage, this game is gonna be ugly.

Interesting... I remember when OU was recruiting him, one of the big reasons we didn't get him was because he wanted a shot at QB and we only wanted him as a receiver...
Anyway, I hope Arkansas wins since I love a good upset, but Texas will probably win by a couple of TDs. Arkansas may have the emotional advantage, but they don't have the same athletes UT has.

the game isn't on tv here, and that's probably a good thing. Even just checking the ESPN gamecast occasionally, I'm getting annoyed with my Longhorns.
They just seem completely unable to stop the run.
I can only hope that they turn things around in the rest of the 4th, but it's not looking too likely.

I'm very glad that A&M isn't playing VT today. That means I've got 4 days to lord this win over my UT friends :)

Go Hogs!!!!
After today, there is no doubt that Matt Jones is the best running quarterback in the nation.
Jones netted 95 yards rushing on the road against the #5 team in the country.

Wow! What a game! I was so impressed with the Hogs today. Jones looked very solid at QB. I think there's no doubt who our primary qb should be now. Cobbs looked the best I've seen him since his first season. Our O-line was strong, and our D-line, which had huge question marks surrounding it coming into this game, played like veterans. Man I'm pumped. Their performance today gives me high hopes for the season.

Couldn't stop the run...
Arkansas QB made some crazy plays - props to him.
Over at Hornfans.com (http://www.hornfans.com) there is plenty of bashing going on.
As someone over there said, we (UT) play to not lose instead of playing to win. Programs like Oklahoma & Miami play to crush and win every game, and expect to do so.

I do think it is funny that schools like Arkansas have no sign of their own, so they have to use our sign, down.
