Does anyone know when NEW rosters will be available to D/L via XBOX Live for ESPN NFL Football. I just picked it up and wanted to start a new Franchise, but I wanted to most current rosters before I started it up.

I need my beloved Lions in all their glory with Avon Cobourne and Olandis Gary....

I think codejunkies.com has an updated roster for ESPN.

You have to have Action Replay to get the rosters from codejunkies.com. You can go to geekrosters.com and get the text, then put them in yourself.

I went to that site but I did not find anything with the TEXT of the rosters. I guess I may just update my Lions and go from there....

What KEY players is ESPN NFL missing?

PS2 roster update for week 1 is out, so the XBox roster should be soon to follow.

Cool, I hope the XBOX ones come soon....but it figures, I just updated my Lions roster and started my franchise....ahhhh well.

I was at ESPNVG's website, and they are saying to look for the XBOX update around Monday. Apparently, Microsoft puts updates through a quality assurance test before they are posted so it takes longer. Of course, the problem is that teams will probably still be making more moves (re-signing released vested players, signing other teams' preseason cuts, etc.) through the next couple of weeks, making the XBOX rosters outdated quickly. I can only hope for users of both systems that Sega will update the rosters more frequently than has been discussed (about every four weeks).

Hmmm, now what to do....stop my Franchise now and wait till Monday, or just continue right along....

You can't import rosters into an already started franchise can you???

Not that I've seen. I tried it yesterday on the PS2. If you load a roster, then a franchise, the franchise overrides it. There is no option for importing in Franchise either.

Ok, The rosters are available for XBOX.

HOWEVER, they still have missed some people for teams. As I noticed with my Lions, they have missed:

RB Avon Cobourne
WR Scotty Anderson

those are just off the top of my head. I mean, those are two offensive players that see time every game for my awful Lions....oh well, glad I just made them
