Adult DVD banner Ads, my question is how do I keep those from appearing at the top of my screen in say the Other, TV talk etc...?

I have noticed a lot of early hours here at home it shows up, which is OK, but not at work, I have been fortunate for that not to happen. Or do those only show up between certain hours?

If thats the case, great, if not, is there any way to avoid those banners?

So the only option is to pay to not see porn?

I've had similar problems here. While I will be getting the membership and not having any ads, I still think it's a good idea not to have adult ads in other since it's not deemed a "mature" area. Some of the ads themselves are pretty offensive.

Of course... I haven't seen the numbers of clicks on those ads by forum. It may be that other is the only place generating revenue on those ads. I dunno.

Sorry I didn't have more time before to post a more complete answer.

As I've mentioned many times before the adult ads are limited by time, meaning they don't appear till late at night and are gone by most people's working hours in the US.

I PERSONALLY review each and every ad which goes up on the site and reject any ad which is explicit or selatious.

About a year ago based on the feedback of our members we selected a single EXCLUSIVE adult advertiser for the site, AdultDVDEmpire and they've been committed to a level of excellence and respect of our members which I feel is a very good fit for the site.

I am working hard on putting an option together for the forum where people who do not wish to be encombered by ads can pay an annual fee and get an ad free version of the forum. I see this as a good option for people who simply do not wish to see adult ads.

The adult ads must be getting to you too!

Will there be a DVDTalk support price point where I will be ensured to get porn ads 24x7 in all forums?

That's cool... I had noticed that before work they were showing up, but by the time I got to work they were not showing up. I was just kind of rolling the dice there. I didnt know if there was some sort of a time frame for them to show up, or I was just getting lucky.
