Jackass playback problems
I have a problem with the Jackass special edition DVD. When i try and play it i just get a blue screen with text on it. It has writing and the paramount logo 'the contents of this DVD are protected under copywright.... blah blah blah;. It just looks like the standard stuff they put on at the start, nothing special.
I can even get into the display setting and see that there are chapters there to play, but i always get the no entry sign when it try to skip or play. I know the DVD works as i tried it at work and on a friends player.
Someone mentioned that it might be because of the amount of footage they have crammed onto the 1 DVD making my Toshiba SD-110EB unable to read it? Its nearly 6 hours on 1 DVD.
That sound like the problem? I have a region 2 player, the DVD is region 2, its not a pirate, i bought it sealed from a reputable retailer. I can play every single other DVD i have, even the LOTR 1 with all its extra long DVD stuff.
Anyone who might know whats happening?
I thought about emailing Paramount who make the DVD but theres no contact detail or forms on their website.
Only option i have left is to return the DVD and get a video, i doubt ill do that i'll just live without seeing it again.
Any options gratefully recieved.
