Just got it today, I thought maybe they would spread out the episodes over 2 discs since it clocks in at 216 minutes total. But its all on one disc. The full series of 9 episodes is included although there is a seperate series entitled JIM HENSON"S STORYTELLER GREEK MYTHS with at least 4 other episodes.
The presentation here is FULL FRAME 1.33:1 since it was made for television. If you have seen these on television you know how wonderful these stories are The enclosed booklet has a nice message from Jim Henson and some interesting facts about the show. DVD wise there is a complete lack of any extras other than a couple of trailers for DARK CRYSTAL and LABYRINTH. for the price tag I thought there would be something else on this set, however I am very happy to have this show bare bones and all on DVD. The image quality is good but seems a little washed and dull and at its worst grainy on certain episodes, considering its age however they look fine. Sound is nice clear dolby 2.0 stereo.
I recommend this disc for the young and the young at heart. Fans of the show will be glad to relive these episodes, DVD collectors will bemoan the "thin" release.

I've only had a chance to watch one episode so far, but I'm very happy with the DVD. I hope to see the remaining 4 'Greek' episodes show up at some point.
