GameSpot has Gladius with a 10/29 release date (instead of 9/23), Risk as 9/10 instead of 9/23, and Shining Soul with a 9/17 release instead of 9/9.

Those and Final Fantasy Tactics are my September purchases (well, except for Gladius )

Namco picked up the rights to publish it recently . Gamespot and EBgames has it listed as 1/2/04 and 1/1/04 for the Xbox version. Dunno how accurate those are either but they also have the PS2 versions dated 11/12/03 and 11/13/03.http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/driving/...s_6073910.html

Re: Release Dates: September 2003

WooHoo....I need nothing really from this list, except this for sure...
ESPN NFL Football (PS2, Xbox)

And A hockey game, but I may wait to see how MicroSofts NHL Rivals stacks up against the competition (unless Hitz goes ONLINE, then that'll be really cool)

ESPN NHL Hockey (PS2, Xbox)
NHL 2004 (Gamecube, PC, PS2, Xbox) *damn you EA and XBOX Live*
NHL Hitz Pro (Gamecube, PS2, Xbox)

"Voodoo Vince" for the XBox is slated for release on 9/23, according to EBGames.com and GameStop.com. Hmmm...I didn't realize till now that it only had a $39.99 price tag attached. That's kinda nice.

Half Life 2 is going to be delayed. Don't know until when exactly, but it's supposed to be out in time for the holidays.

I thought Temple of Elemental Evil was supposed to be released in September... guess not.

Is there any advance word on Gladius? All I've seen is video footage that looked decent, but I haven't seen anything else about gameplay. I like the premise and am thinking of purchasing, but I'd prefer not to waste $50 on a crap game.

I just got back from EB Games, and they said Halo PC would not be released until October 1. I sure do hope they are wrong and you are right though!

Here's what I've gathered from video game mags: I think the fighting system is going to be similar to games like FFTA and Fire Emblem. I saw what I swear are movement blocks on the floor. I think it's turn base. It's definitely an RPG/Strategy game more than an action game.

Here's more info: http://www.lucasarts.com/products/gladius

Trailer #2 has some gameplay footage.

From LucasArts:

That's extremely similar to the dilemma I'm in. Here's mine:

August (still left) - 5 (Disgaea, Buffy: Chaos Bleeds, F-Zero GX, Soul Calibur II, Bombastic)
September - 4
October - 7 (Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2, SSX 3, Manhunt, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, RPG Maker 2, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, Viewtiful Joe)
November - 4 (Karaoke Revolution, Fatal Frame 2, Space Channel 5 Part 2, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!)
December - 2 (Final Fantasy X-2, .hack//QUARANTINE)
