Is this the one with Butchy Boy? Cause if it is I will definitely buy it. I used to watch this every afternoon after school along with Huckleberry Hound and The Little Rascals.

Nice!

I wonder if they'll have cartoons on the DVD? I imagine the licensing might get expensive...

Maybe for you commoners. I went to a taping of the show in either 85 or 86, on my sister's birthday to boot, front row center - on camera the entire show. Paid off to have an uncle who knew someone on the show.
My sister's number was one off to play the Ping Pong game, too.

VideoETA lists the distributor as "Genius Products, Inc." I did a Google search for that company and found their web site. It appears to be a new computer-animated series starring the clown. There's a Quicktime preview on their site (as well as cover art for both releases).

From what I can make out, it looks to me like the cover art pictured there reads "World's 1st Release! ___ ____ live-action BOZO TV series!"

Looks like you're right. Just found this image on the site.

Just seems kind of weird the preview is all computer-animated and makes no mention of this being the live-action show.

I called and spoke to someone at Genius Products and she said three shows were recorded in New York and three in Boston. No mention of the superior Chicago show.

25 million people have appeared on a live Bozo show? Wow. I've never seen the show and hadn't even heard of it until I was an adult.
