No Blade 2 In "Best Audio" = a shame...that's all I have to say.

I could agree on most of those winners. Everyone has their opinion but I could live with those.

I am a bit confused about "Best Standard Release" category. I thought it might refer to a full-screen release but the winner was a widescreen DVD. I thought it might be barebones but the entries are pretty full-featured.

Ah, but it wasn't released under a meaningless "... edition" banner. And that makes all the difference, y'see.

Well, in that case what right did "The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring - Special Extended DVD Edition" have to be nominated?

I'm surprised that there's no Best Commentary catagory.

That is a good point. Commentary has become a standard for DVD feature and it's about time that they add the category there.

Best Menu winner is total BS.
I like the movie and the DVD but the idea of the menu is kinda lame and got old within a few minutes.

DVD awards were a farce. AOTC not receiving a single nomination, when mediocre releases like Spiderman 2 and Harry Potter received a number of noms, is a joke. AOTC was arguably the second best DVD release behind FOTR:EE. It should have received nominations for Best Authoring, Best Sound, Best Picture, Best Menu, Best SE release, and Best in Show.

FOTR:EE obviously deserved Best SE Release and Best In Show.

Who voted on these things?
