I dont know if this counts but i always thought Starscream from Transformers and Cobra Commander from G.I. Joe were the same charcter, they even have the same voice.

What about
Fred from Scooby-Doo and 
Alan from Josie and the Pussycats.At least they look like they hang out at the same clubs, but Alan hits the gym more.
