Tales from the crypt JAP dvd set? WTF?

Okay I have ran into someone who is telling me that her husband recieved a TFTC JAP 15 dvd set as a christmas present two years ago. She says he worked as a District Manager for Tower records and they gave him this as a gift. She says she is going to try and send me pictures of some of the covers because I don't belive her. I have checked with a couple of my contacts within the TFTC community but none of them have heard of this.

I know there are pal discs with no english track recently released, and I know about the 11 or so laser discs in JAP released. But I have never heard of this JAP dvd set.

Is this person pulling my chain? She has nothing to gain by telling me this other than to sound cool. If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

I'm sure that you mean no offence, but the correct appreviation would be "JPN".

Anyway, maybe CDJapan has some info on this.

Yeah, you might want to change your post and the subject line. That's a pretty unfortunate way to shorten "Japanese."
