Thank you so much, I guess I'll be second in line then!

Seriously, this is the only 2003 release I really, really want on DVD.

There probably couldn't be a better blind buy this year.

What studio is releasing this, btw? I don't recall seeing any major backing listed when I saw it in the theater.

No major studio is listed as the backer for this film.

Newmarket films, the guys behind Memento, released this into the theaters.

The post at dvdfile mentions that it is Columbia TriStar who also released Memento on DVD is releasing this one.

It doesn't strike me as a movie I'll be watching that often, but, much like Rabbit-Proof Fence, it's so phenominally good that I can't imagine not owning a copy.

Best movie I saw this summer. Did it remind anyone else of Secret of Roan Inish? Completely different setting, but a lot of similar themes----and I like that subtle "magical realism" touch of fantasy in both these movies.

Well, it's closer to Free Willy than Ghost Rider, but not really much like either.

I want to own this for someday when I have kids. Screw that, if it's out now, I can probably use it the next time neighbors asked us to babysit their kids.

So its a big head cover...of an actor nobody knows = more sales?

What a beautiful poster, geeze just USE THE POSTER ART, especially in this case when a big head of the main actor really isn't going to register with the general public.

After seeing the trailer I want to see this now. Is it available in any other region now?

It's only a month away from release! And the region 1 release looks like it will be great in terms of supplements.

Maybe I'm nuts, but the head in the poster looks a hell of a lot bigger than the head on the DVD cover.

I actually don't mind the DVD cover. Never cared much for the theatrical poster, in all honesty... Just give me the damn movie!

True it is bigger but it fits in with the rest of the poster better then the picture of the actor they slapped on to the dvd cover.

Personally, the DVD cover looks more like the ads I saw in local newspapers than the poster image.

Great film... I will definitely think about picking it up!

The DVD cover looks like she's about to take her top off.

great movie, if you liked this, check out ONCE WERE WARROIRS as well.

For material closer to home but in the same genre(Indigenous peoples), check out Chris Eyre's SKINS and SMOKE SIGNALS.
