Strike back? I thought they did a very good job covering the 80's. What more can they add?

Each year re-done, with more things from that year. Sweet.

Oh god, they've got practically unlimited material - I can't wait!!! Hal Sparks and Michael Ian Black rule! On the Rocky segment, when they had Kermit scrunching up his face and going, "Aaaadrieeennnn!!!" I laughed so hard I actually cried!

Oh, and Liz Phair - how hot are you?!!

No doubt about it, if they put out a DVD, I'd buy in line to buy it the moment it came out. The word needs to get out about this show.

I love these shows. I'd buy them if they came out on DVD also.

Hmmm. That's the major COMPLAINT I have with these shows. Why do I care what Hal Sparks or (insert b-grade celebrity name) thinks about the events of the '70s, '80s, whatever? If they just covered the events, shows, movies, etc., it would be a great trip down memory lane. Now it's just as a setup for some lame joke or mockery from one of these tools. At least get input from people who have something to do with the thing they're commenting on. Oh no, I guess it's better to have Hal Sparks make one of his three funny faces coupled with a sarcastic comment after each segment.

VH1 has realized that there's money to be made in 80s reminiscing. They recently had a meeting with a friend of mine who runs a popular pop culture website that specializes in 80s fare.

Michael Ian Black is the man. When he took the shrinky dink, put it in his pocket and said "It's like, hey man, where's my shrinky dink?" I busted up laughing and felt like The State was back.

I hope they rerun the first run of I Love the 80's too. I caught the tail end of their reruns and then all these 70's one came on (which I recorded all of).

Since my vision is less than spectacular, I can't usually read the small text under people's names on the show. That's fine because I know who Michael Ian Black is, or who Hal Sparks is, but I don't know who the bald guy with the long beard is. Is he in a band or something? I should just wait until they air an episode again and just sit right in front of the TV to find out, but it's too much effort.
