Since Thrashin' came out I would say chances of Rad are getting better. IIRC Thrashin' even has a commentary. It would be great to see Rad get the same treatment.

I haven't seen this since a friend of mine lost it or broke it, can't remember, it was of course the old vhs tape.

With all the 80's movies coming out lately, hopefully this will happen someday soon.

I want to see the flatland competition again with the soundtrack "send me an angel" playing.

Who was the girl in the movie, anyone remember? I can't remember if she went on to do anything else.

Lori Loughlin

She was in the Full House show, another 80's movie Back to the Beach and a ton of other stuff.

Also wasn't Send me an Angel playing during the bike "dance" at the high school?\

Also if this comes out on DVD, I'll have to dig out my old GT performer.

But during that scene in the gym, it was SO obviously a man in a wig. I realized that even in elementary school.

what's worse than the cheesy bike dance, is that fact that it's obviously a stunt double with a wig..

so aunt becky looks like a guy in drag with size 12 shoes dancing around.

Yeah, that's what I meant by flatland competition, it was the dance at the high school.

Yeah, Lori Loughlin, that was her, thanks!

You have a GT Performer? Is it a Pro Performer? Chrome? Want to sell it?

RAD was one of my favorite movies when I was little. I wonder how badly it would suck if I saw it now though. I saw Revenge of the Ninja the other day and it just ruined my whole childhood memory of that movie. I actually thought the fight scenes were great back then :P.

BMX Bandit? When did that come out? I've never heard of it. A young Nicole Kidman, eh? She played the girlfriend?
Was the movie any good?

I still hold onto my VHS copy that I found at Hollywod video a few years ago. I'm still upset about the fact that my parents threw away my Dyno Pro Compe when they moved.

Yep, I am pretty sure it was an Australian (maybe New Zealand) studio that did the movie. For some reason I always thought BMX Bandits came before RAD, but maybe not. I might just be mixing up when I saw them. I loved BMX Bandits as a kid, probably more than RAD.

BMX Bandits was Australian (although, I also wouldn't be able to tell if it was New Zealand). One summer, my friend and I watched it everyday is seems. I think it came before RAD, the clothing and bike styles look earlier.

My LaserDisc has a little Laser Rot so a DVD would be nice. I am still stoked I got the LD for $10 when they are constantly going for 60-100 on eBay.
