New Mattel Classic Handheld!
So far Mattel has re-released Football, Football II, and Baseball. Today when I was at Target, I saw (and bought) the newest re-release. Mattel Classic Basketball.
This is great how they keep re-introducing these things!

I had Football, Football II, Baseball, Basketball and Soccer. I never got into the Coleco Head-to-Head. I'm one of the few that was considered a cheater because I would always use my index finger instead of my thumbs for Football.

Hmm... I guess that isn't too bad. I'll have to pick up the football one. I had the football version when I was younger. How is the basketball one?

Basketball and hockey were very similar in play mechanics, and both were good, but not great, in their time.
The football and baseball efforts were higher quality products, which is why they were reintroduced first... more people have fonder memories of those two Mattel sports games.

I have lost my old Football II, and have tried to find one of the newe ones, but can only come up with the original Football I.
Anyone seen Football II in stores or online lately?

I wish Coleco were still in business. I always felt their line of games had better gameplay and sound effects. Well, sound effects were about even with Mattel's.
