Something weird on IMDB......

I tried searching for Christopher McDonald on there and he's not there. He played Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore, among other things. Why is he not listed? The only thing I can think of is that he is not part of the union, but that wouldn't seem to preclude him from having a listing on IMDB. Anyone have any ideas?

In order to find the page, I had to go to the Happy Gilmore page (on which he is not listed) and then go to the quotes section of the film. Then, I had to click on a quote from Shooter. That led me here:

http://us.imdb.com/Name?McDonald,%20Christopher%20(I)

Thing is, that only lists his "Notable TV Guest Appearances" but leaves out all of his film appearances. I'm not sure why that is, though.

You got farther than I did. I couldn't even find him listed. I did a search and got nothing. This is truly odd.

Interesting.

I've tried to find his name in other movies that he's acted in (Grease 2/Requiem for a Dream/Flubber/Tuskeegee Airmen) and no results! What happened?

On another IMDB note, does anyone else crack up everytime they see this face mixed in with all those beauties on the photo gallery?

Here is a link to his filmography. I couldn't find anything on imdb either, they are usually very thorough.

Really odd. I could have sworn I saw him in that CSB show "Family Law" as well. Perhaps I was mistaken...

Also, wasn't he the title character in a few of those "Action Pak" (????) movies that aired around the time when Hercules was originally airing movies intead of the TV series? There were a series of them - one had to do with two Asian brothers, another had some future car thing going on (thought it was night rider at one point), some of William Shatners Tek line. Then there was, I believe, the one I was referring to with CMcD where he played a bounty hunter trying to bring in people on the run to pay his bills. I really like it a lot.

Am I way off the bat here, or does anybody remember what I'm talking about?

Okay, so some looking, and I'm not on crack. At least I think what I was referring to was the "Midnight Run" series?

And yes, he was on Family Law. =)

He's also in the new box office smash "Grind".

Oh, and this is what the page is SUPPOSED to look like: (minus the Goggle stuff)

You know, when I was writting about those made for tv movies with CMcD (Midnight Run series), I was surprised that there was not another one just called - Midnight Run.

Talk about timing:

Guess this was the original.

It seems to be fixed now. Hey, he was in Breakin'!

More pictures and such here. Sadly, he did not return for Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo.

I've seen this happen before where entire listings disappear. It happened once to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Yeah, must've been a site error. He's there in all his B film jerky guy role glory.
