X-Box Madden 2004 screen question?
Ok I got Madden yesterday, yeah, but it seems that when i play games it puts the screen in a widescreen format. Widescreen is great for movies but for grid iron goodness it is not. I changed the screen views from madden to classic to zoom, but the games are still shown in widescreen. Is this the standard? Is there a way to turn it to full screen? Thanks for the help.

You need to change the screen format in the XBox dashboard to "normal." I know, it's annoying, but it shouldn't really be a problem since the vast majority of DVD's don't use the automatic pan and scan feature. So, you'll still be able to watch your DVD's in widescreen.
BTW, if you set it to 16:9, you will get a 16:9 image in Madden and a few other games. This is great for those with a widescreen TV, but even with my TV that does the vertical squeeze (for anamorphic DVD's) I'd still rather play it full screen.
