"The Black Cat" - my fav. universal horror movie
You may or may not have seen "The Black Cat" starring Karloff and Lugosi from 1934.
If you haven't, check it out. It really is worth watching. as far as the storyline goes, it beats out many other universal horror movies. Some of the dialogue even seems somewhat up-to-date.
The movie really doesn't HAVE that much of a story, but I have seen it many times.
What are your thoughts on this movie? It certainly boasts an awesome climax and awesome characters. also, good back ground story involving WWI.
Your thoughts? Oh, btw what is the climax music called?

Worth watching for many reasons, not the least of which is the fabulous Art Deco sets, especially in Karloff's castle.
You have to love Lugosi: "Superstitious? Perhaps. Baloney? Perhaps not."

Yeah, I really liked his home. Awesomely decorated.
Gotta love Lugosi's last line : "It has been a good game."
What's that place called, that Lugosi keeps referring to? "Marmeroush"? No idea about the spelling, but something about WWI.
Discuss the movie! It's a gem.

The Black Cat is truly one of the many gems of the Universal Classic Monsters entries. Very moody and atmospheric and the rivalry between Lugosi & Karloff is to die for.
