I'm not sure on the exact dates, but wasn't the deal changing soon? The GBA player deal is in full effect I think, but Target stores got confused among the change.

If you hurry you can get in on both deals at with a free game and a $50 gift card at Target. Not sure when target's staff will wise up about this so you better go ASAP before your local staff figures it out . A lot of people have gotten in on this deal.

That way you get a Gamecube, a free game AND use the $50 gift card to get the Game Boy Player.

Hehe, I guess some Targets aren't up to speed.

The "Get a GC and get a select GC game or GBA player free" expired. Then the $50 GC deal came after and was only valid for that one week. It has now changed back to the "Get a GC and get a select GC game or GBA player free." Heh, when I saw the memo that there was confusion among Targets about this, it really surprised me since the coupons are dated.

Anyways, just in case I confused anyone. No, the deal did not pass. You can still get the GBA Player free.

This deal is dated until 8/30 so what happens after then, who knows. It might change temporarily and switch back or just plain die out.

The deal was for a Gameboy Player for the Gamecube, NOT a Gameboy. The GBP lets you play GB games on the GC.
