Give me an idea for this "simple" movie

I want to make a movie with my cousin.

What we have:
Digital Camcorder with PC
Barely ANY budget!
2 actors (me and him)

No night-evening scenes, as that could give me grainy images.

Any ideas for a movie (not silly/goofy) involving only 2 actors? It would be a great help.

Thank you

You're a sicko, but I believe this is only legal in Kentucky and Montana.

be sure you use a digital editing tool! And shoot it in widescreen. Are you looking to put this in theaters, and use a boom mike, use lighting ect, or is this just some 4 or 5 week time waster with a digital camcorder.

Do two guys on a desert island discussing their favorite childrens' TV shows while one is performing surgery on the other. A pesky monky bothers them intermittently. (Do you have access to a monkey? If not a puppet monkey would be funny.)

There's alway hobo boxing.

I'll try and avoid the obvious (and more profitable) answer... (gay porn)

Chimp + Skateboard = teh funny!

I really like the idea about the desert island/children's TV discussion - but leave out the surgery as it would require a special effects budget (which I assume you don't have)

Make a documentary about DVDTalk...

It depends...

What kind of area are you in? A big city? Rural? Do you have access to fields, forests, a lake, etc.?

All you need is good dialogue to make an interesting movie. See Tape. As for an idea...I really don't know what to do. Stay away from anything dealing with drugs or killing. After watching student films these 2 subjects are the most overused and always end up with an amateur feel.

Why dont you try to come up with your own ideas? Making a film is far more satisfying when you come up with the ideas.

Why not take a trip to the book store; you might get some ideas from books like, "30 Ten Minute Plays for 2 Actors from Actors Theatre of Louisvilles National Ten-Minute Play Contest (Contemporary Playwrights)" or "2 Character Plays for Student Actors: A Collection of 15 One-Act Plays." If you look around there's lots of similar collections of plays that might spark an idea.

Two words to inspire you:

Puppet. Masturbation.

Dammit, the script practically writes itself! It writes itself!

Re-create Jackass stunts.

Without the fire-retardant suits.

CLASSIC!

When having an imagination turns out to be a curse!
Now I know what I'll be thinking of all day (and what I'll be doing when I get home. "here, puppet puppet.")

Thanks. This is all your doing. You are responsible for what happens.
