Dead Like Me
I know this is gonna be stupid and there are posts like this all the time, but who else here feels that once Showtime's Dead Like Me finishes it's first season run, it should be released on a NICE box set for all of us nerds to go nuts over?

It's only in what? it's 5 or 6 episode? I'm sure once it's done with the first season it will be a few months till there is a season set of it.

Agree- This show is a real surprise from Showtime- Could this possibly be a turn around period for the provider?
I remember reading in one of the SCI-FI magazines that featured the show in an article that there are 14 episodes waiting to be aired up to October of this year

Not to be a nag or anything, but the ? button should be used in the thread title, Arthur Dent, because other wise it looks like you're talking about an official release of this and not just asking about it. It makes some of us think that there has been an announcement only to find there is none.
But in the mean time add me to a list of people who would want to see this come to DVD. I don't have Showtime (or HBO) so season sets of these shows are the only way I can see them.

Fans of the show might want to check out Ellen Muth (along with Oz's Terry Kinney) in an indie film called The Young Girl and the Monsoon, which just came out on DVD. Ellen Muth is really very good in it.
Also, I worked on it (production coordinator) so you get to see my name in the credits...

I like how the "dark side" of Herbig is coming out now...
I would guess a Spring release of the first season, possibly March with the October theory in mind.
Also looking forward to Season Two of Jeremiah in October...

I would be surprised if this didn't come out on DVD sometime in the near future.

I don't remember how I got the job. (the shoot was in 1998!) I applied, I guess. In NYC there are always tons of indie films shooting. I had a good deal of experience on other films and got this one. It was my one and only time doing this particular job and I wouldn't do it again. The crew was great and everything was fine but POC (production office coordinator) isn't for me. I haven't done much film production stuff since then (working full-time will kill that pretty quick)
I would suggest contacting the mayor's office for film production and getting a list of film's in preproduction and just see what they need.
