R2 "The Man in the Iron Mask (1976)"
I just finished watching my new R2 "The Man in the Iron Mask" from 1976. I thought that the transfer was not as sharp as I'd like it to be, but it was quite clean & the colors good. It is a bare-bones presentation. One thing though, the back cover says the presentation is 4:3 fullscreen but it is letterboxed at 1:78:1 ( As far as I can tell-I'm not expect at calculating aspect ratio).
Now if I could only get my hands on the "A Tale of Two Cities" from 1980 with Chris Sarandon. I already have the R2 "Scarlet Pimpernel" from 1982 & the R4 "The Count of Monte Cristo" from 1975.

...erm... if TMITIM (from 1976*!) is indeed presented with AR 1.78:1 it has been cropped "to fit your widescreen TV"...
*which is ages before 'widescreen TV'' were even a gleam in anybody's eye...
