This is fine with me. November is already too expensive.

Makes sense to me since October 21 is the only day in both October and November that doesn't have a major release set for it.

October 7th -Lion King
October 14th- Matrix Reloaded
October 21st - Indy Trilogy perhaps
October 28th- Hulk
November 4th - Finding Nemo and perhaps Season 5 of Friends
November 11th -Alien Quadrilogy
November 18th - LOTR: TTT EE , T3, and OUATITW
November 25th- Bruce Almighty

8 weeks straight of $$$$ coming out of my wallet for all of these (9 if you count Rudy: SE on the 30th of September)

You do know that this SE is already available for $10 or less at most places, minus a soundtrack, no? Or do you actually want the soundtrack?

Yeah, I know it's the soundtrack packed with the DVD. The DVD does have a commentary on it, which should make it worthwhile along with the soundtrack to make the upgrade. Plus I can sell the original version to someone in my house or my family.

What's useful about it i.e. how are you going to put that information to good use?

Hey, if it floats someone's boat that a DVD is going to come out a couple of weeks earlier than they thought - fine.

If it pleases them to have this knowledge months in advance of the release - no problem.

Useful? That's another thing.

You know, an altered release date on the biggest DVD release of the year is a pretty big deal. Especially in a DVD discussion forum. Which is where you are right now.

That info is pretty much as useful as you're going to get here... we're just talking about DVD releases. We ain't curing cancer.

i think the real question here is what is useful about YOUR post?!

this is a dvd discussion forum... the guy posted information relevant to a dvd release that most dvdtalkers are interested in... seems like his post is entirely appropriate to me. Now, bring on indy!!!!

Alright, alright, point taken.

Just to make amends ... here's hoping that the date changes again so that we get another helpful thread.
