DVDtalk forum sponser had a big banner ad about "Day of the Dead", so big you couldn't miss it. Dawn of the Dead is OOP and prices are about $65 and up for a non-anamorphic print. I seen a few for sale at half.com that's where I seen the price $65. Do a search on the title you may get some info, I forget advertisers name, that had the big orange banner advertisment I seen coming on the board.

Next years box set that you are thinking of will contain 3 different versions of Dawn (theatrical cut, "Cannes cut" and Argento's edit of the film, titled Zombie). Day of the Dead is a separate release and will not be a part of next years box set. Of course, someday down the line, AB might put out some kind of ultimate edition box set with the entire trilogy.

If night of the living dead is a part of the trillogy, it will look like hell, the only good prints of the movie are the elite versions,

Oh come now, what about Anchor Bay's definitive "30th Anniversary Edition" of the film.

(but seriously, you're right. The Elite Millenium Edition is the best way to go)

You know, with the recent trend at AB (see Day and Halloween) I must admit that I'm starting to get a little nervous about the Dawn box... Don't get me wrong, the previous editions of Dawn from AB pretty much blew, but my expectations are getting lower with each passing AB release.
