New Pornographers "Laws Have Changed" video

Has anyone seen this video? It's a great song and pretty cool video. My question is that the chick who temps the guy down from his pedestal and winds up dancing with him at the end looks very familiar but I can't place her. Any help?

I have no idea. She looks a little like Alyssa Milano, but that can't be her.

You can see the video here: http://www.matadorrecords.com/the_ne...ers/music.html

I can't look at the video, but could it be Neko Case? She's at least in the band. ??

I also saw them a couple weeks ago in DC. They played this cover during the encore, but I can't remember any of the lyrics or the title. Did they play any covers, and, if so, what were they?

There's an interview with a few of the guys over at www.splendidezine.com They mentioned something about some covers they did, one was a song from Sweet I think.

I have a live recording where they do "Cruel to be Kind" the Nick Lowe tune. Can't remember what the cover was that they played. They asked us for some ideas but they nixed them.

I'll ask my friend what they did.

Neko is a goddess. I caught her solo show back in the winter and it was like a religious experience. NP's are coming to town in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait!
