I finally got around to finishing off the construction of my MAME machine. Took a whole weekend, since there was a lot of trial and error. But I'm fairly happy with the results. All that's left is a light-up marquee and graphics on the side.

That's awesome, Draven. Love the bezel around the monitor. Psychologically the bezel really makes it feel like an arcade more if it doesn't feel like you're looking at a TV.

Now the marquee above the monitor - is that solid wood? Because if you can get a halogen lamp behid a marquee (there are hundreds up on eBay at anytime) then I think it would be complete.

Nice! I've thought about doing another one with a full videogame console setup, but I think I need a bigger house.

About the bezel. It is solid wood up there, but it's slightly recessed to allow something to be installed up there. I have access to a fancy vinyl cutter at work, so it's possible for me to make a cool overlay for a piece of plexi and then light it from behind. I just have to figure out exactly what I want to do.

considering all the custom work you have done, it looks great.

I wanna build an actual PC to Jamma converter so I can use it strictly for Neo Geo games in my mini cabinet. The Xbox cant handle all the games because of the ram size.
